1. Who We Are
Proads Solutions LTD ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the United Kingdom, operates the website located at weightcare.pro (the "Website"). For purposes of U.S. state privacy laws, we are the "business" or "controller" responsible for the limited information described in this Policy.
Registered address: Unit B, First Floor, Broad Oak Farm Business Park,
Redbrook Maelor, Whitchurch, United Kingdom, SY13 3AQ
Privacy contact: privacy@weightcare.pro
2. Scope and What This Website Does
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through weightcare.pro. It explains what we collect automatically, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
WeightCare.pro publishes editorial comparisons, reviews, and reference information about weight-management products and about third-party telehealth providers and pharmacies. When you click a link on our Website, you are taken to a third party's own website, where any further interaction takes place under that third party's terms and privacy policy.
3. Information We Collect
We collect only information that is generated automatically by your browser and device when you visit the Website. We do not collect information that you type in, because there is nowhere on the Website to type anything in.
3.1 Automatically Collected Technical Information
| Category | Examples | Why We Collect It |
|---|---|---|
| Network identifiers | IP address, approximate location derived from IP (country, state, city level) | Security, fraud prevention, regional content, aggregate analytics |
| Device and browser information | Device type, operating system, browser type and version, screen size, language setting | Site rendering, compatibility, analytics |
| Usage information | Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, referring URL, exit links | Understanding which content is useful; editorial improvement |
| Click and campaign identifiers | Click IDs, sub-IDs, advertising campaign parameters (e.g. Google Click Identifier), unique visit identifiers assigned by our tracking system | Attributing traffic to advertising campaigns and to partner referrals; measuring advertising performance |
| Cookie and similar identifiers | Cookie IDs, pixel identifiers | Analytics and advertising measurement (see Section 8) |
3.2 Our Own Click Tracking
We operate a self-hosted click-tracking system (Binom) on servers located in the United States. It records the technical information listed above and assigns each visit a random identifier ("click ID"). This identifier is not derived from and cannot be reversed into your name, email address, or any other directly identifying detail. We use it to measure advertising performance and to confirm which referrals we are compensated for.
4. Information We Do Not Collect
To be explicit, we do not:
- Operate any registration form, contact form, quiz, questionnaire, symptom checker, calculator, or newsletter sign-up
- Ask for or receive your name, email address, postal address, or telephone number
- Ask for or receive your weight, height, body mass index, medical history, diagnoses, medications, prescriptions, or treatment goals
- Maintain user accounts or profiles
- Receive from our partners any information about whether you completed a consultation, obtained a prescription, or made a purchase, other than the fact that a referral bearing a given click ID resulted in a qualifying event
- Send you marketing emails, text messages, or push notifications
If you send us an email voluntarily at one of the addresses in Section 18, we will of course have your email address and whatever you chose to write. We use that only to answer you, and we do not add you to any list.
5. How We Use Information
We use the information described in Section 3 for the following purposes only:
- Operating, maintaining, and securing the Website
- Measuring which pages and articles are read, so we can improve our editorial content
- Measuring the performance of our advertising campaigns and calculating the compensation owed to us by partners
- Detecting and preventing fraud, bot traffic, click fraud, and abuse
- Complying with applicable law and responding to lawful requests
We do not use the information we collect to make any decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect about you, and we do not engage in profiling for that purpose.
6. How We Disclose Information
6.1 Advertising and Analytics Providers
| Provider | Service | Their Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google LLC | Google Analytics 4 — aggregate website analytics | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google LLC | Google Ads conversion tracking — measuring advertising performance | policies.google.com/privacy |
These are the only third-party advertising and analytics technologies currently deployed on the Website. If we add others, we will update this Policy and the Cookie Policy before doing so.
6.2 Referral Partners
When you click a link to a partner, the destination URL may carry a click ID or sub-ID that we generated. This allows the partner to tell us that a referral originated with us. We do not transmit any other information about you to partners. We do not send them your IP address, your browsing history on our site, or any health-related information, because we do not have any health-related information about you.
6.3 Service Providers
We use hosting, content delivery, and security providers that process technical information on our behalf and under contract, and that are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
6.4 Legal and Corporate Disclosures
We may disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or court order; to protect our legal rights or the safety of others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case the recipient will be bound by this Policy or will provide notice of any change.
6.5 "Sale" and "Sharing" Under California Law
We want to be accurate rather than reassuring. California's CCPA/CPRA defines "sale" broadly to include disclosure of personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, and defines "share" to include disclosure for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Because we disclose online identifiers and click information to advertising partners in connection with advertising measurement, and because we receive compensation in connection with referrals, some of our disclosures may constitute a "sale" or "share" of personal information under California law and comparable laws in other states. We therefore provide a clear opt-out. See Section 9 and our Your Privacy Choices (Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information) page.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
7. What Happens When You Click Through to a Partner
This is the single most important thing to understand about how this Website works.
Once you click a link and arrive at a third-party telehealth provider, pharmacy, or other partner, you have left our Website and this Privacy Policy no longer applies. From that point onward:
- Any information you provide — including your name, contact details, medical history, insurance information, or payment details — is collected by that third party, not by us
- That third party's own privacy policy, terms, and consent mechanisms govern what happens to your information
- We have no access to, control over, or visibility into what you enter on their site
- We are not responsible for their privacy practices, their security, their clinical decisions, their pricing, or the products or services they provide
We encourage you to read the privacy policy and terms of any partner before providing information to them.
8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies on the Website. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser.
| Category | What It Does | Can You Opt Out? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Enables core site functionality, security, and recording of your privacy choices | No — the site cannot function without these |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 — aggregate measurement of how the Website is used | Yes |
| Advertising / Measurement | Google Ads conversion tracking — measuring the performance of our campaigns | Yes |
| Referral Tracking | Our self-hosted Binom tracker — attributing visits and referrals to campaigns | Yes |
You can manage your preferences at any time through our cookie preference control, or through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Website function. For a full list of cookies, including names and durations, see our Cookie Policy.
9. Your U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. We honor these rights for all U.S. residents regardless of state, so that you do not have to check whether your state has passed a law yet.
| Right | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Right to Know / Access | Request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients |
| Right to Delete | Request deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions |
| Right to Correct | Request correction of inaccurate personal information |
| Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing | Direct us to stop selling or sharing your personal information, including for targeted advertising |
| Right to Limit Sensitive Personal Information | Limit our use of sensitive personal information. As described in Section 11, we do not collect sensitive personal information |
| Right to Non-Discrimination | We will not deny you access to the Website, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right |
| Right to Appeal | In states that provide it, appeal our decision on your request. Instructions will be included in our response |
9.1 How to Exercise Your Rights
- To opt out of sale or sharing: use our Your Privacy Choices (Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information) page, or send a Global Privacy Control signal (Section 10)
- For all other requests: email privacy@weightcare.pro with the subject line "Privacy Request"
9.2 Response Times
We will acknowledge requests within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days. Where permitted, we may extend this by an additional 45 days and will notify you if we do.
9.3 Authorized Agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require written proof of the agent's authority.
10. Opt-Out Preference Signals (Global Privacy Control)
We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or extension transmits a GPC signal, we will treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information associated with that browser, without requiring any further action from you. Because the signal is tied to a browser and device, you will need to enable it separately on each browser and device you use.
More information about GPC is available at globalprivacycontrol.org.
11. Health-Related Information
Our Website discusses weight management and prescription medications, and several U.S. state laws — including the Washington My Health My Data Act and Nevada SB 370 — define "consumer health data" broadly enough to include inferences about a person's health drawn from their online behavior. We take the following position, and we have designed the Website to support it:
- We do not ask you any health questions. There is no quiz, questionnaire, symptom checker, calculator, or intake form anywhere on the Website
- We do not collect, store, or infer your weight, body mass index, diagnoses, medications, prescriptions, treatment history, or health goals
- We do not transmit any health-related information to Google Analytics, Google Ads, or any advertising partner, and we do not include health-related terms in the data we send to them
- We do not use bidstream health data, and we do not build or purchase audience segments based on health conditions
- We do not use geofencing around any healthcare facility, pharmacy, or provider location
- We do not sell consumer health data. Because we do not collect it, there is nothing to sell
We collect page-view information showing which articles were viewed from a given browser. We use this in aggregate for editorial purposes and do not use it to infer any individual's health status or to target advertising on the basis of health.
If you are a Washington or Nevada resident and wish to make a request concerning consumer health data, email privacy@weightcare.pro with the subject line "Health Data Request".
12. Data Retention
| Category | Retention Period | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Server and security logs | 90 days | Security and abuse investigation |
| Click tracking records (Binom) | 24 months | Advertising attribution, partner reconciliation, fraud review |
| Google Analytics data | 14 months | Platform retention setting |
| Cookie identifiers | As stated in the Cookie Policy, generally up to 24 months | Consent duration and platform defaults |
| Records of privacy requests and opt-outs | 24 months | Demonstrating compliance |
| Correspondence you send us | 24 months | Handling and auditing your enquiry |
At the end of the applicable period, records are deleted or irreversibly aggregated.
13. Data Security
We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the limited and non-sensitive nature of the information we hold, including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) across the entire Website, access controls and authentication on our tracking infrastructure, and regular patching and review of our servers.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Children's Privacy
The Website is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. We do not have any age-verification form, because we do not collect information from anyone. If you believe a child has interacted with the Website in a way that resulted in the collection of their information, contact privacy@weightcare.pro and we will delete it.
15. Geographic Scope
The Website is directed to residents of the United States. Our servers and service providers are located in the United States, and information we collect is processed there.
We do not target, market to, or intend to offer services to individuals in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. If you access the Website from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law. Should you be located in the EEA or the UK and wish to make a request concerning your information, contact privacy@weightcare.pro and we will handle it in accordance with applicable law.
16. Advertising and Affiliate Compensation Disclosure
WeightCare.pro is an advertising-supported comparison website. We receive compensation from some of the companies whose products and services appear on the Website, typically when a visitor clicks through to a partner or completes a qualifying action on the partner's site.
This compensation may affect which offers appear on the Website and where they are positioned, including the order in which they are listed. Our listings do not constitute an endorsement or recommendation of any provider, product, or course of treatment, and they do not represent all available options in the market. Ratings and comparisons reflect our own editorial methodology, which is described on the Website.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any manufacturer of prescription medication. All trademarks and brand names are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last Updated" date. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will provide a prominent notice on the Website. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
