1. How This Website Works
Understanding what we actually hold makes the rest of this page easier to use.
We have no registration form, contact form, quiz, questionnaire, calculator, or newsletter sign-up anywhere on this Website. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, weight, medical history, or any other personal detail — there is nowhere on the site to provide them. We do not maintain accounts or user profiles.
What we do collect is generated automatically by your browser: cookie identifiers, device and browser information, IP address, the pages you view, and a randomly assigned click identifier used to attribute your visit to an advertising campaign. Several of these count as "personal information" under state privacy law even though they contain no name.
2. Your Privacy Controls
Manage what runs on this Website
Changes take effect immediately for this browser on this device.
Turning these off will not restrict your access to any content, and we will not charge you differently or degrade your experience because you did. See Section 9.
3. What We Sell or Share, and to Whom
3.1 What Those Words Mean
California law defines these terms more broadly than everyday usage. A "sale" is disclosing personal information to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration — money need not change hands directly. "Sharing" is disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not anything is received in return. Other states use the phrase "targeted advertising" for much the same idea.
3.2 Our Position
3.3 Data Flows in Detail
| What happens | How we classify it | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Cookie and device identifiers disclosed to Google via Google Ads conversion tracking | Treated as a sale / share | Blocked until you accept; switched off by the advertising control in Section 2, and by a GPC signal |
| Cookie and usage data disclosed to Google via Google Analytics 4 | Treated as a sale / share out of caution | Used for aggregate measurement, not advertising, but Google is a third party with its own uses. Switched off by the analytics control |
| Click identifier passed to a partner in the destination link when you click through | Not a sale — no personal information transmitted | Only a random identifier travels, so the partner can attribute the referral. Nothing else about you is sent |

Not a sale — processed by us, for us | Stays on our own infrastructure and is not disclosed to third parties. Still switched off by the advertising control |
3.4 Categories of Personal Information Involved
- Identifiers — IP address, cookie identifiers, device identifiers, randomly assigned click IDs
- Internet or other electronic network activity — pages viewed, time on page, referring URL, links clicked
- Approximate geolocation — country, state, and city level, derived from IP address. Not precise geolocation
3.5 Minors
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. The Website is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
4. Global Privacy Control
We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or a browser extension transmits GPC, we automatically treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for that browser. Advertising and analytics technologies are set to denied before they run, and you do not need to fill anything in or contact us.
GPC is tied to a specific browser on a specific device, so it must be enabled separately in each browser you use. Information on GPC and which browsers support it is available at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Because we cannot identify you, a GPC signal is applied to the browser that sends it. We have no way to link it to you as an individual across devices, and we will not ask you for personal information in order to do so.
4.1 Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. No common industry standard governs how sites should respond, and we do not alter our practices based on DNT. We do honor Global Privacy Control, which is a recognized opt-out mechanism under California law.
5. Your Rights by State
U.S. state privacy laws differ in detail, and more states pass them each year. Rather than ask you to work out whether your state qualifies, we extend the rights below to all U.S. residents.
| Right | What it means here |
|---|---|
| Opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising | Use the control in Section 2 or send a GPC signal. Takes effect immediately, no verification needed |
| Right to know / access | Ask what categories of personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, and who receives it. Sections 1 and 3 answer this for every visitor; you may also request it in writing |
| Right to delete | Ask us to delete personal information associated with you, subject to legal exceptions. See the limitation in Section 6.1 |
| Right to correct | Ask us to correct inaccurate personal information. In practice we hold no information capable of being inaccurate about you as a person |
| Right to limit use of sensitive personal information | We do not collect sensitive personal information, so there is nothing to limit |
| Right to non-discrimination | Automatic. We will never restrict content, change pricing, or degrade your experience because you exercised a privacy right |
| Right to appeal | Where your state provides it, you may appeal our decision on a request. Instructions will be in our response |
| Right to opt out of profiling | We do not engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects |
These rights derive from laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, the Colorado Privacy Act, the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, the Virginia CDPA, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, the Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act, the Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act, and comparable laws in other states.
6. Submitting a Rights Request
6.1 An Honest Limitation, Stated Up Front
In practice, the fastest and most complete way to exercise control is the toggle in Section 2, a GPC signal, or clearing cookies in your browser — all of which act immediately and require no identification. If you want us to act on a specific record, you will need to give us the relevant identifier, such as a cookie value from your browser. We will not ask you to provide personal information solely so that we can identify you, and state privacy regulations do not permit us to.
6.2 How to Submit
Email privacy@weightcare.pro with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request". Tell us which right you are exercising, the state you reside in, and any identifier you are able to supply. Please do not send us health information, government identifiers, or financial details — we do not need them and do not want to hold them.
6.3 What Happens Next
| Stage | Timeframe | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Acknowledgement | Within 10 business days | We confirm we received your request |
| Substantive response | Within 45 calendar days | We act on the request or explain why we cannot. Where permitted we may extend once by a further 45 days, and will tell you if we do |
| Opt-out requests | Immediate via the control in Section 2; within 15 business days if submitted in writing | Advertising and analytics disclosures stop. No verification is required for an opt-out |
| Appeal | As stated in our response | Available where your state provides an appeal right |
We cannot reverse processing already carried out by Google before your opt-out took effect. We can stop future disclosures. To exercise rights over data Google holds independently, contact Google directly at myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy.
7. Authorized Agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The agent should email privacy@weightcare.pro with the subject line "Authorized Agent Request" and provide written authorization signed by you, or a power of attorney under California Probate Code sections 4000 to 4465. We may contact you to confirm the agent's authority. No written authorization is required for an agent to submit an opt-out request.
8. Consumer Health Data
This Website discusses weight management and prescription medications. Some state laws — notably the Washington My Health My Data Act and Nevada SB 370 — define "consumer health data" broadly enough to include inferences about health drawn from online behavior. We have built the Website to avoid collecting it:
- There is no quiz, questionnaire, symptom checker, calculator, or intake form of any kind, so you cannot give us health information even if you wanted to
- We do not collect, store, or infer your weight, body mass index, diagnoses, medications, prescriptions, treatment history, or health goals
- We do not transmit health-related information to Google or any other partner
- We do not build, buy, or use advertising audience segments based on health conditions
- We do not use geofencing around any healthcare facility, pharmacy, or provider location
- We do not sell consumer health data. Because we do not collect it, there is nothing to sell
Analytics does record which pages were viewed from a given browser. We use that in aggregate to decide what to write about — not to infer any individual's health status and not to target advertising on the basis of health.
Washington and Nevada residents may email privacy@weightcare.pro with the subject line "Health Data Request".
9. No Discrimination, No Financial Incentives
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right. Specifically, we will not deny you access to any content, charge you a different price, provide a different quality of service, or suggest that you will receive any different treatment.
We do not offer financial incentives, price differences, or service differences in exchange for the collection, retention, sale, or sharing of personal information. We have no loyalty program and no paid tier.
10. Other California Rights
10.1 Shine the Light — Civil Code § 1798.83
California residents may request, once per calendar year, information about personal information we disclosed to third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information for third-party direct marketing purposes, so there would be nothing to report. You may still submit a request to privacy@weightcare.pro with the subject line "Shine the Light Request".
10.2 Notice at Collection
Our Privacy Policy serves as our notice at collection. It identifies the categories of personal information collected, the purposes, whether each category is sold or shared, and how long we keep it.
10.3 Minors — Business and Professions Code § 22581
The Website is for adults aged 18 and over. It has no facility for posting content, so there is no user content to remove. If you believe information about a minor has been collected, contact privacy@weightcare.pro and we will delete it.
